Our Educational Approach
We are a community that nurtures the socio-emotional well-being of each individual, so they can become a well-rounded citizen of the world. Students are guided to master major concepts, processes and skills as they build connections between ideas.
Children are given opportunities for self-directed inquiry as well as collaboration with their peers. The goal is to teach children “how to think, not what to think” as they prepare to be outstanding global citizens.

My son has attended La Piazza Academy since it’s opening and now as a Kindergartner has a deep love and enthusiasm for learning.
I am so grateful to have found this special school and would recommend them to any family looking for a unique educational experience, that focuses on the social, emotional and intellectual development of each child.

Both of my children have attended La Piazza Academy where there is a strong community of parents and children. The owners, faculty, and staff foster a warm community experience that enriches learning and kindness. My children savored the time there with their teachers and friends enjoying going to school and when it applied remaining in the after care school program. I never had to worry about my kids when they were there because they were looked after well and really liked “staying in aftercare”. Most of the time, my 6 yo would ask me to pick him up later because he has so much fun with his other friends. This school has really brought lots of learning and joy to my kids!
Our oldest son has been attending for 2 years now and we recently enrolled our youngest. Both boys are super happy. It says a lot about a school when your kids are eager to attend school.
LPA, in my opinion, is the best pre school. It’s such a cozy and nurturing environment for kids. They have great teachers that truly care for your child. And the academic program is A+. I’d definitely recommend this school for any parent.
My son loves La Piazza. He runs to the door every day excited to go to school. The teachers are fantastic and truly care about my child’s well-being and education.
She is always present, available, and communicative. You can tell that everyone at the school loves working there. It’s a great environment and I am so happy my son goes there.
We moved from out of town to Miami in November and registering the kids at La Piazza was the best decision we could have taken. They made the transition so easy. The kids fit right in from Day One. From the director, to the teachers, to the cleaning lady, I wouldn’t choose any other Pre-K school than La Piazza. A truly special place

We have had a wonderful experience with La Piazza for both our children and I would strongly recommend this school for the early stages of childhood education. The staff is very caring and the main teachers have been great with the children. The pre-school facilities are nice given the school size, with spacious classrooms and plenty of natural light. We are big fans of progressive education and the Montessori & Regional’s Emilia approach has worked well for our family. After the successful summer camp experience with demanding COVID protocols, we’re happy to be starting our 3rd school year at LPA.
La Piazza Academy is a loving environment that has nurtured a love of reading, an appreciation for the arts, and a healthy sense of self in my child. It has also helped him become fully bilingual, and with their Mandarin program, soon to be trilingual.
I value all the teachers and their daily commitment to my son and recommend this school to my friends without hesitation.
We’re so lucky to have found this school. The staff is loving and really qualified in child development and their approach to learning is great. Children are exposed to a diversity of activities and experiences to help them grow. The campus is brand new and really nice. The school also offers a lot of opportunities to participate and be a part of the community. We couldn’t have hoped for a better leaning environment for our child. Highly recommended school.
